Exercise and self-defence at the Kapiti Judo Club...
Judo is a great sport for all ages: exercise, fun, self defence. Come along and give it a try! The Kapiti Judo Club offers all ages the opportunity to learn the "gentle art" of judo - every Tuesday and Thursday night from 7pm during the school term at 2 Ruapehu Street (above Dairy), Paraparaumu, New Zealand.
What is judo? It is fun, sport, an art, a discipline, a recreational or social activity, a fitness program, a means of self-defence or combat, and a way of life. Read more about judo here...
The Club today is extremely fortunate to have the expertise of current coaches Lloyd, Norm, Karen, John, Steven and Mark with parents participating to learn with their children and assist in club development.
Over the years Kapiti Judo Club has produced many Wellington area and national level champions - but as much as this, it's about participation, having fun and keeping fit!
Come on kids (and parents...)!
Kapiti Judo welcomes new members of all ages. It is a great activity and confidence builder for kids and great exercise for parents. Learn more about coming along for a no-obligation "try-out"...
